Thyroid Function Test
A Thyroid Function Test is a blood test used to evaluate how well the thyroid gland is working. The thyroid gland plays a vital role in regulating metabolism, energy levels, heart rate, body temperature, and hormone balance. Thyroid function testing helps diagnose thyroid disorders and monitor ongoing treatment.
This test is commonly used in preventive care, endocrinology, and the evaluation of hormonal imbalances.
